Northeastern’s Center for Research Innovation (CRI) is continuously working to cultivate a strong team of experienced individuals who are passionate about supporting innovation and translating them into tangible solutions. As part of this work, we are pleased to announce that PJ Dupuis has joined the CRI as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Programs.
PJ has an extensive background in marketing and program management, supporting higher education, health and wealth benefits, and the financial industry. She holds a master’s degree in education from American International College and a Bachelor of Science from Northeastern University.
As Assistant Director of Marketing and Programs, PJ will promote the visibility and reputation of Northeastern’s technology transfer efforts for researchers and entrepreneurs. She will focus on cross-platform marketing and events to educate, inspire, and engage the research community with CRI’s suite of patent, commercialization, and venture services.
“I am excited to be back at my alma mater in this role,” says Dupuis. “It is my honor to help Northeastern market new inventions through the CRI’s various marketing platforms and events.”
As part of the CRI, PJ will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of the CRI’s marketing efforts and programs. She will work to further promote the visibility and reputation of Northeastern’s researchers and entrepreneurs; increase awareness and engagement around CRI’s suite of patent, commercialization, and venture services; and develop innovative, inspirational, and educational marketing and programming that connects the research community with commercial partners. In addition, she strives to provide a calendar of exciting content and events that engage and strengthen the innovation ecosystem at Northeastern.
And for any huskies starting their careers, PJ provides the following words of wisdom: “You can dream about what you want to be when you grow up or where you want to work, but the reality is you just need to put one foot in front of the other. Follow the path before you and find the next adventure that awaits.”
