THE CENTER FOR RESEARCH INNOVATION

Entrepreneurship Consultants

CRI’s Entrepreneurship Consultant (EC) program pairs experienced business operators with Northeastern spinout companies — providing hands-on guidance from concept to commercialization. If you have deep experience in science and technology commercialization and want to put it to work with some of the most promising research-based ventures coming out of Northeastern, we’d love to hear from you.

EC Opportunities

There are two ways to engage as an EC, depending on your availability and the type of involvement you’re looking for.

EC at Large

Work with 3–4 companies simultaneously, dedicating a minimum of 20 hours per month across your portfolio.

Best suited for targeted support on a specific need — milestone planning, fundraising strategy, or key introductions.

Typically a 3–6 month engagement.

Dedicated EC

Work with 1–2 companies on 3–5 defined milestones over a 6–12 month period.

Minimum of 20 hours per month per company.

A deeper, more sustained engagement for advisors looking to be closely embedded in a company’s growth.
